Leave Management Application
A mobile application designed to handle the entire leave application process for the 8,000 officers of the Gurugram Police, developed in coordination with the department headquarters.
Project Overview
This project aimed to replace the traditional, paper-based leave management system with a modern, efficient mobile solution. The key challenge was to create a highly scalable and secure application capable of serving approximately 8,000 end users within the Gurugram Police force.
As a key member of the development team, my role involved a blend of technical development and project coordination. I was responsible for designing and implementing the core database structure using Firebase, ensuring data integrity and efficient querying. Through effective sprint planning and agile project management, I helped guide the project's progress, ensuring milestones were met on schedule.
A significant part of my contribution was conducting comprehensive user testing sessions with officers to gather feedback, identify pain points, and iterate on the application's design. This user-centric approach was crucial for ensuring high adoption rates and overall project success.
